Got my attention when she was invited to play at the NPR Tiny Desk Concert (video below) and was love at first listen. This London-born, British singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist was a backup singer for Paloma Faith.

After being signed with Warner Bros, Records the Jamaican-Greek descendent spent 2 years developing her song-writing skills before she released any music.

Her debut album was released in 2012 called Is Your Love Big Enough? won, in that year, the Itunes Album of the Year and got nominated to BBC Sound of 2012 and Mercury Prize Awards.

In 2013 she was nominated as Best Female Act & Best R&B/Soul Act by MOBO Awards.

Her latest album Blood released in 2015 got nominated for the 54th Annual Grammy Awards as Best Urban Contemporary Album.
